about the group

At the core of MaT it provides us moms the chance to
socialize in English on an ongoing basis with other moms in
a kid-friendly environment. The environment consists of two
rooms (one large, one with a kitchen) that are part of the
oldest church in Milan, Sant'Ambrogio.

Though MaT is not necessarily the same group of moms
each time the group meets, it still feels like a "community" by
virtue of everyone being a mom. The group is a great
opportunity to give/get advice; find out information about, for
example, where to find good children's stores or let off
steam about how your kid is driving you mad and is it just
you?! We even take a tea break while our kids run around
and make noise (!). The point being, that we moms can
mingle with each other, one of the main features of the
group!

communication with ALL members. Anyone is free through
cool list to send e-mails of interest to the entire group.

moms night out
Once a month (or so) we organize aperitivi and/or dinner at
some spot in Milan! This is also a great way for former
members of Moms and Tots to keep in touch or for
newcomers to join in!

dues
You must also be prepared to pay membership dues to
MaT. There are two ways to pay:

1. 70 euros for the year, from September through June
2. 40 euros for each "semester;" September to January or
January to June

group leaders
The group's leaders tend to change every year as of
September.
